Tutorial: Birthday Makeup Pictorial

Hello Loves!

I have had some requests to how I did my birthday makeup, so, I did a tutorial on it.
Here is the look I am talking about:

The tutorial will not include individual lashes to show what it looks like with just mascara as an FYI.
Tutorial after the jump!

Start off by applying an eye primer
Product Used: Urban Decay Primer Potion

Add a dark blue or black base. Blend out the edges.
Brush Used: Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
Product Used: MAC Imaginary Paintpot

Apply an eyeshadow 2 shades darker than your skintone to the edge of the base.
Brush Used: MAC 217
Product Used: Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow

Pat on blue eyeshadow in the shape of a wing. We just want to have a shape to start off with.
Brush Used: MAC 239
Product Used: Shiro Cosmetics Dark Sacrifice

Keep blending the eyeshadow up and out. Make sure to re-pat eyeshadow on the lid to keep the intensity.
Brushes Used: MAC 217, MAC 239

Add a blue kohl pencil to the lower waterline.
Product Used: Benefit Steel My Blue Kohl Pencil

Smudge blue eyeshadow on the lower lash line. Leave the tear duct empty.
Brush Used: MAC 214
Product Used: Shiro Cosmetics Dark Sacrifice

Add a white-blue duochrome eyeshadow to the tear duct.
Brush Used: MAC 219
Product Used: Naked Cosmetics IV-06 Pigment

Additional blending and patting of eyeshadow to achieve this.
This is the final result I achieved

Add mascara!

Go rock on!
And as always,
Until next time, have a beautiful day!
